anyone know how hard will it be to replace a engine on a mitsubishi 3000gt, or compare to a honda engine.

Probably would be about as hard as replacing one on a mid 90's 300zx :P

Theirs not much to them. drop the transfercase&halfshafts and then unplug everything hook up the hoist take the mounts lose and pull it out. It's a lot like pulling a honda engine really. pretty easy.

GET MANY EXTENSIONS to seperate the transfer/ and bell housing case from the motor if its a VR4, I pulled 4 so far and under 3 hrs, but the most complicated parts are reconnecting the PS pump and the lower water hose to the radiator, it' sags alot and I cant stress the point to get the silicone replacement or get a hold to keep t from sagging/breaking under the summers sun. But all new gaskets and new CV shafts if your upgrading the PSI. Didnt read the whole post just cot bit's and pieces, but if it's a VR4 this will help.
