Is this normal?
 

All right I blew my clutch, but not the because I did'nt have any clutch material left but because I actually broke one of the springs off of the clutch disk. It was an oem clutch, and I'm putting in a six puck. the same thing hapend to my buddy darksol2005's car. :-\

so only one of the 4 springs broke

it's not the spring that broke. the spring came out of the center of the disk because the little shim thing that holds it in broke off

I gots 6 springs on my'n and yeah one the metal that holds the spring broke off wtf, I had a ton of clutch disk left too, it was an oem style clutch though, it was repalced a few years before I bought the car

When I pulled out my slipping centerforce clutch for a six pack I found one of the springs about to fall out, the metal was all cracked around it. Im looking forward to seeing how my new six pack holds up.

I can't wait to get my'n finished, I've ran into to many problems it sucks

OEM sprung discs, and distributors are the two main Honduh weaknesses.

Ny buddy was having problems with the clutch in his Teg, finally pulled it and sure enough, one spring out and two more were loose. Not much disc left either though.
