i just finish my ls swap in my crx. the problem is when i start my car the idle is at 3,000. this happens if i dont start it for a couples of hours ??? but when it gets warm it drops to about 1000-1200. how do i fix this? does my charcol canistor(sp) need to be hooked up? :P

No it doesnt need to be hooked up...

check for vacuum leaks, and make sure you didnt adjust your throttle linkage to tight ;)

my idle screw is all the way in...and i think i linkage is good..this happens only when the engine is cold..but when its warm in idles at1400-1500..is that still do high? really need to fix this cause i leave my house at 6am and its loud

Mine usually starts at 3000 then drops down to 700-1000... is that messed up too? my idle, once it warms up, looks like a decent number...

mines like 1800 cold.

600-800 fully warm.

actually i just checked.. mine starts at aroud 2100 then drops.. is that still normal? haha

2100 sounds ok but that guy with the 3000 rpms is off....it might be the ecu programmd funny or some ----...i dont know...

mine does the same even after i drive for awhile and come to a stop it will be at high revs 2000+

dude, dont ---- with it, if she idles high at 1st thats hondas why of saying "im gonna hlp you make it warm so you can hit vtec sooner" dont worry about it. it might be a bit high, but my crx starts at about 2500 then drops to about 800. its pretty normal dude

ok i think i found the problem... im flashing code 7 and 43.. im going to try and change my TPS today..but how to i fix code 43? Fuel Supply System defective or malfunctioning fuel supply system...what is that?

and now it idles at 2500 when warm...damn this is pissing me off

TPS is messed i would think, check its voltage at full closed, should be around .4 - .5 volts

how do you check the TPS? do you do it when the car is on or off?do i test all 3 pins?
