noobish q?

Default noobish q?

if you put the b16 head on the ls block would you need the b16 ecu? or any other corresposing head to ecu?

I believe it would be better to have the b16 ecu. But u prolly can use a msd activation switch to kick in ur vtec.

I don't think the non-VTEC ECU's have the hi cam fuel and timing maps. So yes you can use a non-VTEC ECU with an rpm activated switch but you won't make as much power.

Chip your LS ECU with Uberdata and use a Type-R or GSR base map. I'm assuming you're going to do more to the motor than just bone stock LS/VTEC swap.

you can use the stock ecu and run vtec with an rpm switch....its exactly the same, only problem is the rev limiter, of course i dont know if your gonna want to rev ls/vtec to 8,000 rpm anyway...

b16 ecu will work but might run a little lean

you can always socket an obd1 ecu and run uberdata, or if you are obd0 then turboedit. then mod the fuel maps are required
