No Heat! I'm stumped?

I have no heat and I can't figure out why. The blower motor blows, the heater valve cable works, there is hot coolent flowing though the hose going to the heatercore. What else is there left to check in the heating system?

P.S. its a 91 honda crx

what about the return hose? is it also hot? if it is perhaps the flapper inside the airhandler box isnt .. umm... flapping over to the heater core side.

hmmm. maybe that is too technical for him to understand,

you have the control set to hot (the red side)....right? ;)

Try bleeding your coolant system....sometimes and airpocket can get in your heater core. That means no heat.

With your car running open the 12mm(honda) bleed screw where your upper rad hose connects to the block. The screw will have a little nipple on it.

Watch the coolant bubble out. As soon as it stops "sputtering" out close it. Try adding a bit more coolant too while doing this.

A tip....Squeeze all the rad houses a bit bubbles like to hide in them

Thanks for all the help, I figured out what it is. On top of the heater controls there are two cables that control the heater valve and the flapper on the heater core. The one for the heater valve works fine but the one that controls the heater core flapper came lose. I glued it down and now it works fine.
