Re: no clutch damnit HELP! < UPDATED > and A NEW QUESTION
It took me at least 12 times to get all the air out of the line. Those clutch master cylinders go all the time, having it drop all the way to the floor like that when your slave cylinder went could have toasted what seals were left in it. There is a nut that connects the master cylinder to the clutch pedal, but that won't give you much adjustment...if it did release at a decent place before the problems started, it should still release at the same place.

Re: no clutch damnit HELP! < UPDATED > and A NEW QUESTION
do a gravity bleed first, open the nipple and keep filling the res, it might take a while to start. once it starts bleed all of the old fluid out then tighten it up do a normal bleed and try it
|
Re: no clutch damnit HELP! < UPDATED > and A NEW QUESTION
Yeah it takes forever to bleed. Keep on pressing on the pedal and have someone open up the bleeder while you hold it. And yes, your fluid could be contaminated and that could by why your slave cylinder went, so letting all the fluid run out could be a good idea. It doesnt hold much fluid either, so a small size brake fluid container should fill it up fine. :y
