Default new cam

got stg2 cam for single zc tightened valves to service spec but car stumbles lick a subaru
can valves still be to tight

There ya go, you're overcammed. You probably lost more power in the low-mid range than you gained on the top end. If you gained anything at all.
There's more to building an engine that makes usable power than buying everything that says "stage2" on it.

Were stock specs the recommendation of the cam manufacturer?

only info is lobe centers moved to
110 intake
104 exaust
