Needing help again.. *dumbass inside*

90' crx dx. b18a1 swap. ------- mounts are pissing me off. I bought those ebay b series swap mounts. they look right, but then again they dont.. I also can't get the ------- rear motor mount in.. the bitch seems too big.. motor and axles are in.. and i am trying to fidangle the motor to get the mounts set right and ---- is just not adding up.. also, where the alternator goes the previous installer didn't bash that in.. i was able to bash it in maybe an inch.. I dont have a cherry picker or I'd just pop the motor out and do ---- right.. dammit it pissed me off so bad i just ------ quit and went inside..

went out and bought a hoist today at autozone.. they were asking 178.99.. but there was an old tag on it.. said 149.. ended up getting it for that.. pretty damn nice one.. motor is out now.. I know I have to bash in where the alternator goes.. any idea on how much bashing to do? i dont want to do too much becuase of the drivers side suspension.. i'm also going to set in my rear mount.. see what gives..

yeah i hear ya.. actually i'm not 100% sure the axles are right.. guy i bought the car from said they were "performance axles made for the swap" but they look completely stock to me.. no brand labels or anything.. possibly just teg axles.. i'll prob get the right axles for the swap before i actually drive the car.

THE POINT IS TO NOT CUT CORNERS, why are you always being a hateful lowlife bastard. You have nothing to provide other than antics that show how lonely and depressed you are. You got to be a trailor park trash test tube baby. START being helpful and you might get more respect from people who have the BIG motors and dont FW the small economy motors that can teach you something about the real HP#, then educate you on TORQUE

Having a big motor has nothing to do with real HP #s. Why are you on homemadeturbo if you believe in big motor big power.

Im ok with big motors....but only in a trailor queen.....They suck gas, hard to fix, gotta fukcin pull everything out jus to get to the plugs....but i know if you ran 10psi on a stock 5.0 you would see deep 13's or high 12's....but hey i can put a GSR in my C-REX with 7psi and spank his ass....and STILL get over 25 miles a gallon.

I've never seen someone take apart the axles like that when installing a motor.

It's much easier to drop the motor down the bottom/raise it up. I've done this work so many times, and with the car on jackstands, and raising the motor up on a jack, I've installed motors by myself. Lowering it down will be a bitch, especially in a rex. But I'm sure it'll be possible. Just protect that TPS, it's always the first to get owned by the firewall.
