I was just curious on your guys opinion. Im going to build my d16a6 and im not sure what pistons or rods to use. I was thinking vitara pistons or TT srp pistons they have, eagle rods or TT rods. My goal is 300whp and with a 16g turbo or somthing else similar. I know that you have to notch the block iv read alot just havent found much on how it ends up running. But arent all the vitras like that the lower your compression. Just curious what you guys though thanks

I am currently building a d16a6 with a 16g. I did a lot of research on my set-up. I am using 8.5 c/r 75.5mm pistons. Bring your block to a machine shop and have them check the clearances. You may need to bore over to 75.5 if your block is high mileage. I am also using TT rods. They are the same as Eagle and fine for 300whp. I noticed that TT's have bearing notches where eagles do not.

Either way, your set-up is fine for 300wph.

Yea i saw your wagon and ------- love it. I didnt know you were building it that much i saw you were going to eventualy put the rods in but did know you had pistons and a 16g planed. Are you still boosting with just the d16a6 stock or did you put the rods in? with the t25 it looked like.
