Need some help on a D16A6 swap

I got a question about swapping a D16A6 motor into a Civic STD or DX, i understand that the wiring is different (I believe the Si is MPFI and the dx and STD are DPFI), so my question is, in order to complete the swap what is it that I would need to replace? Would just swapping out the stock engine wires for the Si do it? Or do I have to also swap out some other stuff? I know I will have to put a resistor box and of course swap out the dinky ecu (gonna use the integ ecu). I would appreciate any help that any of you guys could give me.

I know a few of you are going to be wondering, why the heck am I swapping a D16a6 in, why don't i go for at least a ZC or B16. Well to answer that question for you guys, I'm looking to buy a 88 hatch that has the D16A6 motor installed but needs the wiring finsihed in order for the car to run. And one of the main factors in why I'm considering this is the price :) Sorry bout this guys, but I'm young and I'm trying to learn how to do things, that way I won't have to always rely on friends and other peeps to do my dirty work. Oh yeah and it also sucks paying people to do stuff you can do yourself.

So please help me out, and if all goes well, I'll hopefully be able to make something out of that motor and boost it!!!!

you will need

A MPFI ECU, d16a6 or PG7 ecu.

A MPFI Distributor SI

88-91 si Injectors

Injector resistor box, then their is about an hour of wiring you have to do. Their are lots of write ups on honda-tech, and the web..

Just type in DPFI-MPFI swap or DX to SI or DX To ZC swaps, all basically the same thing.

Or you could just let me buy the car instead. Sounds like your getting a good deal.

Good luck

Thanks for the help guys. But I decided to just scrap that car. Had a lot of extra goodies on it, but also had a few too many negatives. Especially late DMV fees n stuff = gay. But I really appreciate the help.

Thanks.
