need some help with clutch issues
i've searched everywhere and couldnt find one.
i need a pic of the inside of the bellhousing on a 92-93 LS trans mission. the release bearing spring broke and i want to make sure i put it back in the right way.
and is there a Honda equvialent of this spring?? the nearest acura dealer is like 30miles
and another question.....how do i get coolant out of my transmission. (dont ask :1 )

Re: mista bone, JD, someone i need a pic
tranny on bench, it'll move the TB over an inch, but when installed maybe 1/2 that.
IIRC correctly the two ends of the spring fit into notches in the tranny case.
I might have a few spare TB springs, maybe even a clutch arm.

Re: mista bone, JD, someone i need a pic
the disc looks fine, all springs intact, tons of meat left (only ~12k miles on clutch)
the PP looks like there is a few hot spots on it but over all it looks ok. there is a little wear on the fingers from the release bearing but it doesnt look drastic
what else would cause the clutch arm to not have any tension??
i'lll get some pics of the clutch, pp, spring and arm in a few

Re: need some help with clutch issues
ok, i replaced the return spring
it looks like i installed it wrong, instead of the fork being in between the bearing and the ends of the spring i think it was behind the end of the spring. so when ever i pressed the clutch pedal it pushed on the spring and not directly on the bearing and sheared the ends off.
the springs on the clutch disc are intact but i can spin 2 of them semi-easily. is this normal??
tomorrow i will put the old clutch back on and put it back together and see what happens. hopefully it will be OK
