need some ct love

since last time i was on lots have changed. gsr-sold for rent $, coupe- fucked, 1000 bux -rent $. so threw this time i now have another hatch nice and clean and put together an lsvtec. nuespeed springs, kyb gr2 struts, ebay strut bars, stock ls bottom, stg 2 act(stock/resurfaced flywheel)ls trans, gsr head, skunk 2 intake mani, aem cam gears, 70mm tb, dc 4-1 header, ---- exhaust and when i mean ---- i mean the header pooped out a diformed dented mid pipe with a fart can at the end.(came on body) sux ass.

so i have a few ? bout that. my last two hatchbacks i used the same cat back on both it was the rsr gt2 then the hatch got stolen and now no more nice exhaust. i got a reeeeeeaaaaaaallllllly good deal on it used for a spiring/summer season for only 175. long story short anyone got a cheap(free is cool too) teg/civic cat-mid pipe for an eg? stock, preformance anything realy as long as there are no holes in it. im in the southern ct area.

is mild steel ok for an exhaust? i have 2.5in pipes for ic piping but im not boosted yet so its just sittin around and if i cant find anything i can have a buddy weld them up for me. but is that stuff ok under the car with rain/snow? and if i go that route i would need a muffler. now i have another friend that works at a local preformance shop and they have stock mufflers off all sorts of cars( subbies, mitsu, bmw) is there a stock muffler that might b a better choice to cut and splice on to the 2.5in pipe? or would it just be best to then spend some money on like a decent 2.5in univ. muffler?(and i would like to keep it quietish too) car runs with a p28 and there is a guy at that shop that deals with crome so a lil dyno time and itll run loverly.

last ? how many rattle cans do you think it will take to paint the whole hatch(no jams no bay)
