need some clarifying.....

im still learning about machine work on motors but heres what i still dont know a thing about but i want to know everything about. if you know anything about the following or how it is done please let me know:
blue printing
micro-polishing
balancing
shaving weight off the crank
installing sleeves
valve jobs...i.e 3 angle or 5 angle valve job

stroking-is when you increase the storke of your crank generally via a stoker kit (crower sales the best kits personal preference)
installing sleeves- all motors come with factory sleevs but the are generally weak so some people who plan on runing alot of boost or are boring there motor out install after market sleeves.
shaving weight off the crank- generally referred to as knife edging you take weight off the crankshaft helps the motor rev up faster similar to what a lightened flywheel does
balancing- is when you take weight off each piston or rod intill each one weight is equal to the others you can also take weight off the crank in different areas to balance it balancing helps the rotateing mass
3angle and 5angle valve job know what it is but dont know how to explain
blue printing-no idea
micro-polishing-I believe it is just polishing
if anyone wants to correct me or explain it better feel free

You do an engine balance in a professional engine when you use a lightened underdrive (crank) pulley. This way everything runs in sync with each other.

The 3 angle job is a part of head work, its done to improve the surface area around the valves so that more air can fit tightly and well packed in there. This is usually done with a "stage 2+ port and polish" the port and polish just refers to grinding out the surface and polishing it afterwards. This in combination with the angle increase, allows you to fit more air and gas and thus produce more power.

Blueprinting - Rebuild the engine to original specs. Everything's perfect.

Micro-Polishing - Usually down after the crank is ground to prep the journals for happy bearings.

Balancing - Sometimes synonymous with blueprinting. Just making everything symmetrical in the weight department.

Shaving weight off the crank - Usually people do this when they're knife-edging things. I suppose you could do it as part of the balancing process (though, they normally drill a hole and fill with a lead allow).

Valve jobs - x-angle is the number of distinct cuts on the valve seat. Naturally, > x = > $

Stroking - What I could be doing now...

A lot of this could be found with Google. We're outta spoons...
