cutting torch works great. cuts very easily threw damn near everything, like: axles, mounts, damn wiring harnesses, ---- you can cut the hole front of the car off with the :o

drain fluids, dissconnect batt.,undo all elect. connections including behind motor. dissconnect speed-o- cable. get small punch and knock out center pin out of the shift linkage, must use extreme force. then pull it out of tranny. pull suspension apart, use healthy screw driver to pry out axles from tranny. undo the exhaust from underneath the car, or undo at the head also. now, set every thing aside in a box or bag to remember where they go. put a GOOD chain around the motor a little short on the tranny side to pick that side up first. loosen the motor mount bolts, apply pressure with the engine hoist to take up the slack. remove the bolts. pull old motor out, you may have to wiggle and pry it out due to tight fit around in the motor mounts. r u going cable, or hydro??

there are ususally holes on all four corners of the head that we thread bolts into to pulle motors. ususally we put a bolt on either side of the drivers side, and then chain to those, and put one on the tough little loop on the top of the tranny. i usually go shorter on the drivers side and pull that out first, but tranny first would work too. we just made an engine load leveler to make pulling out easy. tilt it when ya want to, level it to set it down or put it in.....it works beautiful, we just copied summits design

there are tons of those on the internet. as for the vaccum lines. take off the cover of that box, find the MAP sensor (far left when looking at it) fallow that hose and put it to the T-body (NOT the bent nipple). ---- the rest of them (unless your in cali, then your askin the wrong person)...
