Need Help!!
 

k so i swapped my trans and then the car didnt start. So after replacing the coil , cap , rotor and fuse for the fuel pump under the hood it started drove and was ok for most of the day.. until it started throwing code 5 (map sensor) later on the car was ------- up on my way home . the check engine light was flashing on and off. and i made a turn the car dies. I swapped the map today a still nothing .. then i checked that damn 15amp fuse onder the hood and it was blown again . so i changed it , started up still running like ass the check engine light was flashing and the i could hear a relay under the hook clicking like crazy on and off . and its giving me a code 22.. when i dont have vtec. but im gonna check out the the fuel pump/ fuse, and other misc crap with the multi meter maybe a relay is crapin out

a little background on the swap would help. first thing i would check is TPS and MAP connectors, alot of people get them swapped when swapping motors since the plugs are the same on. then i would check all the grounds on the engine and the frame, and check the ECU, if you swapped it w/ the swap it could be bad.

bro that sounds like a mad ground problem

normaly that little ground on the tranny, your car with not enuff ground is like u being realy drunk

well i was going to use a friends multimeter but the larger 10a fuse in it was previously blown and radio shack only carries them up to like a 6.3v . anyways i swapped my fuel pressure regulator with another one i had. B4 i knew the fuse in the multi meter was blown i had the prongs where the 15amp fi/ecm fuse belongs and when i did it was priming and i heard the clicking . I have my map and tps in the right spot . the maps been tapped b4 from tuning. Now with the codes... its not throwing the 5 anymore and put my old map back on .. its not throwing 22 anymore and the only one its throwing is a 14 .. IACV . well it is a y8 mani on a y7 now and i did swap the plug correctly.. ylw/bk and the blu/gry disguarding the orange. but ive had the iacv off b4 i put the mani on and it was all gunked up. im gonna try soakin in some carb cleaner or somthing. tomorrow. otherwise ill shop around for a new one. because im pretty possitive i have it hooked up correctly .. my idle doesnt hope or anything my throttles a lil sticky but thats it. ALso ive been driving the car around the neighborhood and its not shaking or bogging down at all now..

also gonna check on those grounds tomorrow ... clean them all up check if their tight
