need help

Put a D16y7 in my 91 crx si. Now car will not start. I will turn over and run for a second and then die. Timing seems to be ok. Seems like injectors are not putting fuel in. Will run longer if gas added to manifold. Do I need to change wiring on injectors? Someone please help.

Re:need help

its getting fuel to the rail. I put a new distributor on it. The one for a y7 had to splice in connectors to wire it up right i"ll recheck timing.

Some gut online told me the distributor was the problem. Can i run the 98 distributor with the 91 ecu?? or do in need to run a 91 distributor?

Re:need help

you need to use a OBD 0 ECU the OBD 2 ECU you have now has no prayer to work. you need to use a 88-91 distro for it to work right.

Re:need help

how about the injector wiring, with the older style injectors you run the resistor box and with the newer style they dont require the resistor box. did you do anything with the wiring there?
