NA mini setup and have ? on hardware

Project SOHC 1.5 screamer. I've got a Z6 head, complete y7 with a spun rod and all the internals from a jdm d15b vtec in good condition and wanna find a 1.5 block. Alright here's my winter NA project.
-D15 block(don't matter)
-Z6 head and complete obd1 setup since it's already setup for my EH hatch or EG8
-vx pistons(shotpeened and polished since crowers are $$)
-ARP rod bolts(they have two models, one for the dohc vtec's and one for 1.2-1.8(ls) so I'm assuming the last one ::)
-Y7 pistons
-d16y8 2 layer headgasket
-Z6 intake manifold which I'll portmatch with a LS tb
-SS DC 4-1 header
-drive train will be z6 tranny with a act 8lb flywheel
It should net me like a 11.6:1 CR and everything I have is the arp rod bolts which will run me 34 shipped and a just to find a 1.5 block which won't be hard or expensive. I'll just control everything with a Fields vtec controller or if someone can make me a program with Uberdata otherwise.
ANYWAYS, my question is what headbolts or ARP studs do I need for it and that damn timing belt problem cause the last time I built a mini me and used a b2 block and z6 head I used a VX timing belt and that fucker was tight as hell and squeeled and whined it was so tight.

gunna use 2 vx pistons and 2 y7 pistons? :P

use z6 head bolts..

and i think a z6 timing belt (the 1.5 and 1.6l blocks are the same height right?)

Re:NA mini setup and have ? on hardware

With the follow setup my friend used the old compression calculator and figured it out to be 11.6:1 with the following setup
-b7 or b2 block
-z6 head(non milled)
-d16y7 pistons
-VX rods
-y8 headgasket
Question is how do I get the new piston to deck height since I'm using the vx pistons in the 1.5? I came up with .7mm to add to the b7 deck height but what's the deck height of the b7 or any of the 1.5 blocks for that matter? It lists the 1.6 blocks(which is 212mm) but not the vx or 1.5's? A true tech question. 8) The CR cal. is was using

i have tried and tried and tried to use that compression calculator for the d15b's using 137mm rods.

and it takes some math...

that compression calculator has a lot of figures and values missing when trying to compensate for the 1.5's and the 3mm longer rods.

nice build, similiar to what i am doing with a 1.6 z6 block.

also, the vx belt vs z6 belt on mini me's is a debate.
some say use the z6, others say the vx.

i have a brand new vx belt for my d15b7/z6 combo, waiting to go on.

So does anyone know what the deck height is for 1.5 blocks? This is making me pull my hair out@! I gotta ask my friend how he got that ratio cause it's throwing my ratio way off and end of getting like a 9.3:1 without compensating for the VX rods.

You should get some GX pistons. ;D

GX pistons? Enlighten me...Well I got a b7 longblock completely free today! Yee haw! Gotta love free engines.

You guys ahve heard of welded combustion chambers. To much work involved in my opinion to get that compression when you can weld the cc and get a 2 layer gasket and the z6 head you will be in the high 10's low 11's. It's what my built d16a will have when I drop it back in welded cc's and dohc zc pistons.
