I have one at my shop that is like that. I just gave up on it

 

that used to happen on some atv's we would cut the axle down to about nothing and weld something on to use a slide hammer.

 

impact hammer is the miracle tool

 

already tried and soaked the shaft and the axle joint in used motor oil for like 2 weeks to break up the rust




still no go


it now sits in the pile of rusted junk on the side of my shop.

 

If anyone cares, a little update on whats up. I got the axles all figured out.. Installed my new ones, fit perfectly. dropped the front crossmember and slid the header up, had to notch the crossmember a bit for header clearance, kind of hated to do that but oh well.. if it ***** alignment or anything up i'll reinforce it or get an aftermarket traction bar. Figuring out a little more wiring, and radiator stuff and hopefully will fire the bitch up soon.

 

i have no idea whats going on...........but those jugs are huge
