My Newest Problem

Default My Newest Problem

My oil light is going on when I go into neutral while moving. It only flashes for a second or two and then goes off, but everytime. I figure maybe since it has less oil pressure in neutral its telling me i'm a bit low on oil so i added another court today but still the light. I'm afraid to add too much oil because I dont want to back it up into my oil return and blow my new turbo's seals. Any advice, tips?

Oh btw...this all started last night when I was on the highway doing about 70 cruising and my car just shut completely off on me three times when put into neutral.

Im gonna guess you pick up or pan is at fault.

What would be the cause of this...everything was working fine until the car died last night on the highway and i'm not even sure what the reason for that was. I added another court today but it's still flickering in neutral. I need this fixed, i dont mess with oil!

Too late now....car's done..$7,500.00 takes it local as is.

So i've come to a fork....
I can buy a used B18 GSR w/ head studs for $1,500 that previously had a full-race turbo kit on it to throw in the si coupe and transfer over some b-series goodies.
i can pay to get my damages fixed (whatever cost it may be after diagnosis).
i can TRY TO sell the car for like $6,000 for somebody to fix themself (providing damage is cheap enough to be worth it for them to buy and fix and stay on a budget) the body of my car has fresh paint and its flawless besides the front lip and a few minor scratches

dude sounds so simple, your idle might be set wrong and the drop from higher rpm bogs out the engine, maybe u need tune up
