My Engine Build
Some of you may know, some of you not. I am building a motor in my engine rebuilding class at college this semester. I bought a Y7 with tranny and everything for $100. Brought it back to school and ripped it apart. I am doing a full rebuild but after calculating funds I am coming up short. Not sure of the caliber of rods i'll be able to afford. As of right now the build includes: Vitara pistons, ACL bearings, Arp rod bolts, stock head bolts, clutch specialties clutch, brand new gaskets and seals all around, rods are still undecided. I just want to run some mid to low 13's and I'll be happy. Looking for a safe 250 hp so... Here are a couple pics.

Hmmm, not bad man. 250whp and 13's should be real easy after building an engine like that. Have you looked into the Scat rods or the Tuner Toy's rods that Craig sells now? He's got I beleive both H and I beam rods.
Very similar to my setup, I did the integra LS (b18AorB) rod conversion and am tuning for 15 psi, My setup also includes vitara pistons, a complete teardown and rebuild with new bearings, and seals. T3 Garrett turbo, Log manifold, air/water cooler, and water/alcohol injection. I plan to have traction bars and maybe slick if I can afford a good set of used ones. I'm planning for high maybe mid 12's with my setup, mind you this is all going in to a stripped 92 civic sedan.
