Take your valve cover off and see if your if your valves are bent, you never know you might get lucky and be fine.

Need to do more than pull the vaalve cover to see if you have bent valves. If the t belt was broken 99 percent of the time you have bent valves. Pull the head

lay it on its side with the exhaust side towards the sky and poor water into the ports. If water leaks out of the combustion chamber you have a bent valve

repaeat on intake side.

Re: is my engine any good?

Re: is my engine any good?

It will work to some extent but really in my view you need to pull the head. A slightly bent valve may not show on a compression test but drive on it for a prolonged time and it will cause some major damage. Dont guess do it right

Re: is my engine any good?

so pull the head try the water thing and what ever happens happens right...but what are the chaces of it being
