so a while ago i rebuild my ---- with 9.0 pistons and eagle rods..planning to boost it after like 2K miles or so, but my ***`s been lazy and now it has 6 thousand miles without boost still and last night is my third oil change and guess what once i open the filler cap, there`s smoke coming out of it, i mean not a lot nor not too little, just barly enough amount that makes me worries.blown rings or ---- may be . .
so freaking scare to do a compression check now.

 

I dont think its bad, its probably time to change your PCV valve...

Rudebwoy? How long have you been back? lol anyway, I wouldn't be too worried about it either. Try the PCV valve and see what happens. I've had the same problem after getting the engine hot, then cangine my oil. Just a little bit of smoky mist or something out the cap. No big deal and I'm still running strong

 

mine smokes like a **** out of the valve cover breather, it ain't no thing. what's a pcv?

 

its just oil vapors from the oil being hot, i wouldnt worry about it.

 

i've seen many cars have a little steam outta the oil cap/filler.
