Default MSD cap and coil ?

I've had this MSD cap and blaster coil for my y7 for awhile now and finally gonna install it. Are the two wires that go to the internal coil in the dist. have polarity or not? I don't remember seeing any markings on the blaster coil for polarity. how much of a effect will I see after installing this? I don't mean like 500hp or some stupid ---- but like better throttle response or easier startup or something?

yeah I think that the coil should say positive or negative. As far as horsepower you won't see any. Just better idle is all I noticed. It looks cool though.

The internal coil and blaster coil both have polarity, so make sure you connect them right. You can remove the stock coil and drill a hole on the side of the blaster cap. I did this for my old integra and also put a rubber grommet. The crane cap I have now already came with a hole and grommet.
The cap and coil will not give you more performance without the msd ignition. Once you have that you will notice a difference, and like it.

Damn I went to go put it on today but couldn't get the damn rotor off! I didn't wanna start yanking on the thing and have it break cause auto stores around don't like to keep stuff I break on hand. Are these things always a struggle to get off?

you mean after you took off the machine screw, the rotor wouldn't come off?

when you take your cap off, there is a small cover under the rotor that covers the internal coil. on the back side is an opening. you have to turn the motor until a the screw for the rotor is accessible. that is what holds it on.
