Re: mpfi swap problems.

ok im a ------ idiot. i was reading through yours and i found that it was the gorund on the water neck. it runs but it sounds like ass, like its not running on all cylinders. waht could i check next. or does it sound different after the swap like its rougher and louder??
edit: i also think that i have the wires on the distibutor in the wrong location. may that also be the cause.

Re: mpfi swap problems.

i would suggest you look at your wiring very carefully on your dizzy. i made sure that was correct the first time by reading many different diagrams and then asking here to see if they were right. i was told to match all the colored wires together, oh and make sure that the two white wires are going to the correct whites on the plug. that will also cause no spark as what i was told. then connect your c1 & c2 wires to the right wires. mine worked on the first fire once it started, but i was a dipshit and put the plugs on in the wrong firing order so thats why it sounded fucked up.lol :S good luck hope that helps for the spark issue.

Re: mpfi swap problems.

ok its running but im throwing 3 codes:
code 7-throttle angle
code 10- air intake temp.
and code 14-eacv.

the tps is fucked on the intake. can i take the one fron the d15b1's intake and put it on the d16a6's intake??? if i can i just wire it up like it is supposed to be once i do the swap?

air intake i have no clueon how to fix.

and i have the eacv hooked up, so why is it throwing the code for it??

help me know please. ???
