Default MPFI swap: No distributor plug

I'm doing a MPFI swap on my 91 LX sedan, and have everything I need but the SI dist. plug. Short of buying an entire harness, what can I do? Pull the pins and run each wire seperately? Local junkyards are picked clean, ebay harness=75-80 dollars. BTW this is my first post so newbie flaming applies. At least I'm not asking how do I put a turbo on my Civic?Trying to do my homework on the turbo thing but need to get through this MPFI swap first. Thanks.

you're missing the plug that goes to the dist from the engine harness or from the dist side.

Yes, I'm missing the plug that goes to the distributor on the harness side. Thc connector on the dist. is intact, just lacking anything to plug into it

hrm.. you could just cut the dist plugs off and splice it in.. or even make your own plug using spade connectors or something from radio shack.

if those options don't interest you post a topic in the Wanted forum for that plug.

If u still have the dpi harness, just cut off the old dizzy plug and solder it onto the si dizzy. Yes, it's ghetto, but it works in a pinch. You'll have two light blue wires leftover though on the si dizzy...these go right to the ecu. It's a pain in the ***, but if you absolutely need the car running, it will work. If you can wait, do it the right way and keep looking for the harness plug. Try looking in a 90-93 integra...i believe they have the same plug.

Thanks for the hints, I'll keep looking for a bit longer and will check out other Hondas / Acuras at the junkyard.
