Default Motor Mounts for y8 in a crx

I'm trying to figure out exactly what mounts I'll need. I was over on Mechanic B's garage? and they said you just need the top drivers mount from the crx and the rest from the y8. I know some of you have done this swap, but I can't be sure coming from a guy called Mechanic B. What do I need?

**this is what it takes to put a d16y7 into a 4th gen civic** just use ur stock mounts, transfer the drivers side mount to the y8 and to make it fit u have to trim the timing belt cover u dont use the part of the mount that goes on the front of the motor.the mount will set a little sideways in the car. every other mount is fine. i have had one time when the frount mount fit in crooked tho hope this helps

so all crx mounts? Totally contradicts what I've read from that site. Can you be more specific on which mount to leave out? I'm stupid. Thanks.

well all crx mounts if u ar using a cable tranny,if ur using a hydo, idont know. the part of the mount i was talking about bolts to the side of the drivers side mount, and "wraps" around to the frount of the motor right undernirth the valve cover, if someone didnt already do away with it.this si just what i did and it works....this site that u got the info from was the other dudes name lagboy, cause if it was i printed off the instructions of how to put the 5th and 6th gen sohc vtec motors into a 4th gencivic/2nd gen crx.and it said to use the 4th gen drivers side mount and the 4th gen tranny and mounts ....some people leave off the frount mount on the tranny that bolts to the front cross member

Ok, all crx mounts. Is the mount in question the one that has the four bolts that mount to the front of the block and goes through to the wheel well? Thanks

ko if were talking about the drivers side mount....best i can remember u have the one bolt that holds the mount to the unibody.2 bolts in the middle of the mount,2 bolts undernieth the timing belt cover and then like a arm tha bolts to the side of the mount and wraps around to the front of the motor undernieth the valve cover, one u go to transfer the 4th gen mount to the y8 ull see what im talking about best i can remember u cant even get that arm to line up to the y8 block
