Mis-firing *&%$#@

O.k. Shadow and I have been trying to figure out why my B16 I just swaped into my 91' Civic HB is doing what it's doing. Here's the problem:
when driving at partial or less then half throttle it has a mis-fire / hesitation / boggin what ever it's doing it and I can feel it cause I'm running PR solid mounts and I can see it in my A/F ratio gauge cause it jumps to lean real quick everytim it happens. Doesn't seem to do it once I'm at WOT in vtec. I tried switching the TPS and it was fine for about three hours then the problem came back and it got worse. I'm NOT THROWING ANY CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS AT ALL ? Heres the thing when I dis-connect my TPS sensor the MIL comes on ( DUH ) but the problem goes away. WHY ? Any ideas. I'm running a Brand new External coil , modified cap , 8.5mm wires but I'm not sure if it's a ignition problem. ALSO if I disconnect the ECU ( clear it ) and drive it for awhile it drives fine but after a long drive the problem starts to come back. Please help this problem is driving me nuts. Please I hope someone can help this is driving myself and I'm sure shadow nuts everything I've tried works fine for about three hours then the problem comes back. I don't think it's the coil or modified ignition cause like I said if I clear the ECU it goes away for alittle while and if I disconnect the TPS it goes away and I've tried switching TPS's.

try a diff ecu if u have one lying around.

New plugs? what gap? fuel filter? air filter?

what rpm is this happening? any boost?

no boost , Running a external coil , new wires , new filters , new plugs , happening below 5,000 RPM

Re:Mis-firing *&%$#@

what o2 sensor are u running? maybe its toast?? reporting rich conditions to ecu which in turn LEANS out causing hesitation. Meaning that when 80%+ throttle the ecu is in open loop mode pulling fuel maps from the computer and not altering them for emissions, completely ignoring the o2 voltage in turn not causing your problem.

Yea but why does it do it when the TPS is not connected.
