Minimum cage/bar for harnesses

Minimum cage/bar for harnesses
Is there an accepted standard minimum number of mounting points for a roll cage/bar to mount harnesses to. I'm not looking for a full on cage, I'd like to keep all the piping in the rear of the car (none running alongside the seats). Just want to be able to mount harnesses to it and not have to worry about it being strong enough in the case of a crash or something.

I think the main hoop and the rear legs have to be triangularly braced. If they dont have to be, Id still do it. What kind of tubing you using, wall thickness, DOM or rolled? I think there is regulations on that also, depending on what type of racing you plan to do if any.
