Mini-Me thoughts.... give them here! Subject:D15B7 bottom end W/ Z6 head
i just blew my Z6 turbo setup, so i've got a D15B7 from the non-vtec 92-95 civic's in my posession. I want to put my Z6 rods and pistons w/arp's into the B7 block still using the B7 crank(since it's the same as the z6, just since i spun my rod bearings in my z6 i don't want to use the z6 crank) My question's here are will the B7 oil pump(it has 155,000 miles but was said to run good from the previous owner) be enough to suply the V-TEC head and turbo enough oil pressure??? Or should i find another oil pump from a good condition Z6? Also, which timing belt is needed to be used to do the mini-me with the B7 block and Z6 head? thanks alot guys. We've built one of these years ago so i don't remember any more. thanks O0

I'm pretty sure it will be enough. Most people doing minime's just slap the vtec head on and don't touch the bottom end so i don't see where you would have a problem.

1.6 crank does not fit in a 1.5 block. Really not all this trouble find a 1.6 block if your anywhere that has any hondas there eveyrhwere.
