MIni me swap

I know these question have been posted. I have 00 hatch, I just bought d16y8 its a 96. I know honda have two types of ecus, will this 96 ecu plug right in? What plugs do I need for the motor itself? it comes with the eng harness so do I need run any wires?

what engine do you have currently in the car? i beleive if you r car was non vtec you need an ECu of the same OBD that is vtec equipped. but then again you would want to get a P28 and go from OBD2 to OBD1. Uberdata is your friend ;D

your car is obd2b and the ecu with the engine is obd2a. You will need a conversion harness to use the obd2a ecu.

and julio, the 96+ "EK" hatches didn't come vtecH. CX and DX owns you all them years.
