mini me questions

1)which head gasket do i need to get. the old si block gasket or the new vtec gasket?
2)does it make a difference on which ecu to use?
3) timing belt, i read in a thread that dude said a6 belt was too long, and z6 fit good. is this so on every mini swap. or does it vary?
i moght have more dumb questions later. i would rather no know than while i'm doing it.

Re:mini me questions

first off, tell us what car you have (incl year), what type of mini-me you plan on doing (2 different kinds) d15/d16

Head gasket, I would run the z6 metal head gasket, its by far the best single cam factory gasket.

Re:mini me questions

also you can use the stock ECU.. otherwise u use the same ecu that the head uses on a stock car.

Jeff...

If someone were to use the stock ecu, wont the engine run lean when in vtec? you'd have to get a VAFC right??
