Mini Me ... To BE .... Or Not
 
Hi guys.
Ive got a D15,
and thinking about doing a Mini Me swap on it.

:D
But wondering if i put a A6 cam in it, will that make similar power as the Mini swap (with new ecu and
MP swap)

Also i have heard the doing the Mini Me swap will/ could cause problems when I turbo my car .. is that true ??

About the A6 cam, im assuming youre talking about the 1.5l head? Correct? The cam is stronger on the si head that is the only difference in the head as long as the head is a dx head. I dont have experience of a 1.5 with a tec head though.If youre gonna turbo it i guess you can just do that(just the a6) and the boost will make up for it.Hope i helped.

do the mini me! you wont regret it! when u boost just dont boost past 8psi and youll be kicking ass! ;D

unless you get a mls headgasket and add a spacer or 2 then you will be right down around 9:1 again

yeah... my vote is mini-me too! donsn't nessisarly mean you'll make more power because the non vtecs can be fast too but the z6/y8 head will flow better.

actually the a6 head flows the best.....anyways my built mini me is my weapon of choice. like renr said you wont regret it

Do the mini-me...but if u want to run turbo, definately get the MLS gasket, cause your 1.5l has flat tops that knock your c/r up higher than a si/mini-me setup.
