Default mini me help

can i just put a z6 head no a y7 block. do i have to block any oil ports and also do i need a oil line from the block to the head like a ls vtec?

no blocking of oil ports or oil lines.

remove the oil jet.
use a vx timing belt.

y7 block doesnt have an oil jet
maybe its located in the y7 head

Don not use a vx timing belt use a z6 timing belt since it is a 1.6l block.
