Re:MiNi Me HELP
Most or some shops will check your Head for you to see if its warped. The oil Jet is on the deck of the block between #2 and 3, pretty much right above the oil filter on the deck.

Re:MiNi Me HELP
Your head go to a machine shop and get it surfaced. They will be able to tell you if it's warped. Cost is between 50-100 depending on the shop.

Re:MiNi Me HELP
88-91 "style" blocks have the oil control jet. Y7/Z6/Y8/Y5, etc. etc. do not have the jet in the block, rather it is in the head.

Re:MiNi Me HELP
d16 blocks don't have them.
just throw the head on. As for the head being warped, get a straight edge rule and use feeler gauges to check for gaps between the edge of the rule and the head surface. Usually it takes overheating to warp a head though. |
