Re: mini-me compression #'s
Hmmm, only 210-215, I pulled like 195-200 on my b2 without the head. I used a bottle of seafoam after, but I didn't check it after. Well, I think my HG might be bad. It blows a little smoke and I checked the coolant level(removed the cap) and it's not up to the top. I'm 99.9% sure there's no leaks; new rad. up. and low. rad hoses, water pump, thermostat. Well, the thing is I did actually torque down the head, then for some reason had to take it off and used the same HG . So, I'm thinking about putting on a new HG if the coolant continues to drop (good excuses to put my arp head studs in). Maybe 230-420ish on all the cylinders .

220 across the board is fine dude, i highly doubt all 4 cylinders are not sealing. If you just put this setup together you may still have airpockets in your system that need to be bleed out. It's very common for people to think they have overheating problems when its just a few air bubbles. I wouldnt start ripping anything apart quite yet.
