What kind of mini me?

I think investing in an ex/si tranny is more beneficial... The difference between a y7 tranny and a y8 tranny is AMAZING. After the tranny, I would definitely opt for a y8 head on a y7 motor. If flows a ton better and is capable of making more power (and it's cheap)!

I'm assuming your doing this to your 1.5 motor. With my manifold I did for you plus a z6/y8 head it should be a fun little car. Make sure your bottom end is up to it though. Compression test if you get anything over 150's across go for it. I would also recommend the l3 crx/civic si trans can get them for 150 bucks.

Not a bad way to go...I'm no expert on turbo platforms but so far the "stock" mini-me is treating me pretty well. Theres a lot of little stuff added onto the main components you need for it, but it pieces together pretty easily. I'm rolling a stock CX tranny, and it really isnt a whole lot faster without an upgrade in trannys....just a little bit more fun

Unless you are REALLY hurting for money, I wouldnt suggest doing one over a complete z6 or y8 swap though.

^ You're really missing out without an ex/si tranny.
