Default Master cylinder

Guys I have a EG6 hatchback with a 94 LS motor, and I really can't break! I was always the one pumping the breaks on a master cylinder replacement, and my ex-friend was always the one telling me to pump, now I know how to remove the old one, and replace it with the new one, but whenever he did it I we would only bleed the master cylinder it's self. Can someone tell me how to do it that route... thanks

Default Re:Master cylinder

Whats your question? do you want to know how to bleed the mastercylinder or the entire brake system? Normally when replacing the master I bleed it on the bench, I put the master cylinder in a vise, fill it up and start pumping it with my hand to get the air out. Install the master and bleed the brake system. This is pretty easy too. Have your little brother or your Mom sit in the car while you start from the right rear wheel. Tell them to pump it up and hold it, as you open the bleeder screw. Fluid will squirt out everywhere. Do this about 9-10 times per wheel, be sure to keep the master cylinder full of fluid when your doing this. Dont let it go dry.
