Lsvtec turbo build, look good
Looking to do a ls vtec on my gf s 91 teg and turbocharge it, does this look good so far
b18a block gsr head jdm b16 pistons, jdm b16 rods this should yeild 9:2 compression golden eagle converstion block gaurd , i know i know arp rod bolts arp head studs this is a budget build so i dont wanna go with forged, just want to turbo the ls and slap some pistons in with rods and a head, i herd that the gsr head is good for turbo. and the gsr cams are good What size turbo do you guys think whould set this baby off around 10 psi, dont want something to laggy, maybe a t3t04b? and what tranny, should i just go with a ls tranny, or a b16tranny, it got a auto right now but im gonna convert it, thanks for the help |

Forgot, i want to incorporate some nitrous into this as well, i was thinking of doing a homemade direct port wet zex kit, so WOT it sprays a 55 shot, that should hold up ok on direct port, so not all the ---- goes in one cyclinder and ka boom
And if i go with the nitrous kit, i will probly for sure go with the zex stage 2 cams just to compliment the nitrous, should be a nice motor turbo and nitrous, will she hold |

I was with up untill the second post....NITROUS!!! that doesn't sound like a budget to me, you might as well fork over the cash for forged pistons to be on the safe side since you will be cramming a lot of air/fuel mixture into those cylinders.

B16a rods are to short..Stick with the stock B18 rods,, Dont waste money on the block gaurd..Go with a t3/t4e turbo....

Yes b16 rods are too short. stick with your LS rods. Honestly just get the damn forged internals if you are planning for that much power. |
