actually, you can use it, just boil the old diff, pull the ring gear off... and put it on the new diff. ky jelly works well for getting your diff in the ring*, just go slow, otherwise the ring gear won't be straight* and it'll be too tight* go slow and I'm sure you and your car* will enjoy it

what sucks is that i cant find a decent lsd for under 300 bucks thats not a "phantom slip" for a d series that can hold 400 hp.

ebay has loads of itr and ctr lsds so i hoped that i could

nope, the only decent LSD for a dseries is a quaife ATB, if you were on the ball about a month ago I had a few for sale, now I'm fresh out. sorry bro.
