Default LS1 throtl body on a B16 IM

Hey I saw that Jeff with the ZC had a LS1 throttle body on his IM. I've searched and found shizz on this. I was wondering if it bolts on directly or what kinda mods are neccessary. Sensors, throtle cable fit? I noticed that he had a custome IM too so I was wondering if it would fit on a stock b16 IM or not. thanks

stock not even close. You would need to make a custom plenum with the bolt apptern for the ls1 tb

Kinda like cut an paste. Just cut the old flange off an have your local aluminum wellding guru as we do, weld on a flat plate of aluminum an bolt the ls1 tb on to it. Its that easy.

Its all in the eyes of the wrench an how much hes cabable of doing.

Ya but you know the size of most honda plenums especially d series cant go bigger than 65 mm without hitting the iacv ports.

cheap ford mustang throttle bodies fit up to honda intake manis pretty good, except they dont have any ports for the iacv or a idle screw...

Thanks for all the input. I kinda like this idea but what about the sensors on the t-body? do they fit on the LS1? Max bore or taper bore for a stock B16 IM. Otherwise I might just go with an STR/Venom IM knockoff.
