LS/Vtec Q's?
 
well i just recently got ahold of a b16 head. it is all ready for the head swap. i also want to turbo it. i want to keep it somewhat reliable. what should i do?

Don't rev higher than your LS redline. That will be reliable.

Search the forum LS/V's are more than covered over and over again. Read what it takes like vtec oil pump, unblocking the oil passage I believe. I'm not 100% sure about it because I myself don't own an LS/V though I have thought about it. Anyways keep the rev's down, ls's dont like high revving too much, get a good tune thats the best way to keep it reliable. Don't use a ------- fmu or ill hunt you down myself, take you car and just bash the engine to bits. Same result. ;D

the stock ls block doesnt need to be revved high, or put rod bolts and bearing and then rev it to 8200. jk.
