ls-vtec HG???????

Default ls-vtec HG???????

Is their any way a b16 head gasket will work on a LS-vtec? I have GE dowel pins, only thing i can think of is their is going to be a hole in the HG for the oil supply to the head but its already blocked off so i should be fine right? I hope it works hah

does it look like everything lines up? as long as that oil hole has nowhere to go then it should be fine as long as everything does line up. why not use an LS hg? u already have the b16 one or something?

No I dont have them bolth to compare, and the reason is because I cant get a OEM b18 HG tomorrow but i can get a OEM b16 one since we only have a honda dealership local

Dont worry as soon as this ****** dosent bubble the coolant its going to get some sc50 love.my goal is to have this thing at the last 3 track days or ill cry after that i could care less

some say use LS HG, others would say use B16 HG. but both HG is compatible.

Seems like the majority of engine builders use the LS gaskets in their builds. Probably for this reason:

"The second method to relocate the dowel pins is simpler. On the intake side of the head there are two locations on the left and right that are good for putting the dowel pins. All that is required using this method is that you resize the holes to fit the dowel pins. The LS headgasket already has the correctly sized holes, therefore there is no need to modify the headgasket."
