LS rods
ok so i was talking to a local shop about using LS rods.. i did some searching about the topic and found out you need, bushings from crower and notch the block so the rods will fit.. ok so i got all that, but has anyone ever really tried this. what needs to be done to make this work.. and can i use eagle h beam rods from a LS (a friend has a extra set)
i ask because the local shop say for 100$ the will do the machine work, the problem is i dont trust this shop as far as i can spit.... so tell me what you guys think

If you have a dremel you can do the work yourself. Get an engine stand if you can afford one. Buy a cheap dremel and put in the crank and the rods to see where you need to notch the block. Then start grinding. But do a neat job. I think the engine stand is like $50 and a cheap dremel is $50. So you gain knowledge and tools. Think smart not harder.
