ls pitsons
i have been doing some research and i looked at some rs machine pistons im doing a mild turbo build nothing hudge but i also looked at some npr pistons on ebay anyone ever used either of these comments on both and on the rs machine ones do you just get the pr3 pistons or what and i also need them in a 81.5mm i need some help guys

Re: ls pitsons
pr3's in an ls block will give you 12:1 c/r. Just use some stock pr4's or some srp's.

Re: ls pitsons
o didn't know that i was doing some reading and kept coming up with 10.2
|
Re: ls pitsons
My bad, it's 10.8 if you don't have to deck the head or block at all. Either way too much for a engine built for a boosted streetcar.

Re: ls pitsons
ya ill agree on 10.8 i figured 10.2 wouldn't be that bad how would honda pistons moly coated and the tops ceramic coated hold up or just get npr ebay ones and coat them what do yall think i dont really wanna spend 500 bucks on some damn pistons

Re: ls pitsons
are rs machine pistons on ebay cast? i mean i really doubt they are forged for 150 bucks but it looks like they use cir-clips, which is sweet
|
Re: ls pitsons
They are cast, like stock piston.

Re: ls pitsons
I have run the npr pistons before on a 12.5 cr motor still lives to this day with over 2 years of track time on her.
