So yeah yesterday me and PSIDan420 started to swap my 0bd0 b18a1 into my 1993 LS with a blown b18a and a ys1 the b18 i had that ran was sittin in an automatic 4dr. so basically we had the cars side by side and took both of the motors out and had to take both trannys off and then change my motor to obd1 and then take the fake gsr header that was on my motor off to put the stock one on so it would bolt up. we ran into a ---- load of problems: one we didnt have a splitter chain for the hoist so we used nylon tie down straps for a truck and then pcv was causing us problems casue it was old and brittle and then after we did all that work we didnt have a damn 17mm 12pt for the flywheel bolts. so basically now i have the good motor in the 93 2dr sitting on a floor jack and the drivers side mount in. and all i have to do is a basic clutch job if you had dropped the tranny. Oh yeah by the way i would like mike at LSD motorsports to know that that clutch did work it was the same spline even though i ordered a dics for a 1990 ls and used in on a 1993 LS with a YS1. Dan told me that all the b-series cable transmissions had the same spline...guess he was right. Oh yeah pics will come as soon as dan hosts them

90-91 LS is small spine, 92-01 are large spline!

i know this from experience also, i was told the swap i bought was a 91 but it was a 92. kinda pissed at first until i realized i got 10 more hp
the trans is what matter not the engine, you ahve a 92-93 trans so no matter what engien you use you will need a clutch for a 92+ trans
