Ls into EG

This has been covered but if someone could just give me a brief rundown that would be great. What would be the problems swapping a B18b into a 92-95 civic. Alright, so all I need is the motor, tranny, and motor mounts correct? Do I need any other wiring, I can chip my p06 ECU to run an LS and no vtec wouldn't be a problem. Anything else I need? Any quick help would be appreciated, I am weighing the possibilities of each B motor. I can get a complete B16 swap for $1900, I'm thinking I could get everything to swap a B18b for under $1000, depending on how my questions are answered.

Will the wiring harness form the LS motor plug into my Dx harness?

I've done this swap before into an eg. Its pretty straight forward. Its the same as swapping in a d-series motor in. And your right with everything you said. Just need the mounts, motor, tranny, axles, and the b18 engine wiring harness. If you have all off that its plug and play. And you'll be fine with the chipped p06 running the b18 program. You can also use your d-series engine wiring harness. You'll just have to extend a couple of wires. :)

Do you know where I could find a write up about it?

I dont know of any write up about the b18b. Its the same as the b18c1 motors minus the knock sensor, vtec pressure swtich, iab, and etc. But if you have any question just post it up I'll try to help you out. If decide on the b16 and have any question ask away. I've done that too. Oh yeah. What year is your eg?
