lookin at a car, need some help with a problem
 

im lookin at gettin a 91 accord with a turbo kit on it, to get back into a turbo car.. its cheap but has a problem

the guy slid it into a curb, he replaced the control arm, and that centered the wheel while sitting and driveing..

i had him back it up and drive it forward for me and backwards its fine (it was in nuetral just coasting) driveing forward, the top of the wheel started leaning outwards

any ideas on what would cause that and how cheap/expensive its gonna be to fix?

did you check the upper control arm? balljoint?

the upper control arm looks straight (the lower one is what he replaced0, as well as everything connected to it, the balljoints boot is torn but im not sure if that could be what is causeing this

i tried to get the wheel to lean while i had the car jacked up but it only does it while the wheel has power on the ground

donald bought my car with the same problem.
i hit a curb and everything looked okay. he replaced the knuckle and it straightened out the wheel.
hard to eyeball it.

i was thinking the knuckle to last night

but the wheel is straight while sitting, and leans when under power, is that what was happening with yours?

since he'd already replaced the lower control arm he was thinking it was the subframe but if it was the wheel would be leaning all the time instead wouldnt it?

how can you tell if its out of whack or not? and like i said if the subframe was bent wouldnt the wheel lean all the time instead of only when its under power?

did he remember to put the axle nut back on? seriously...

that will cause the wheel to lean at the top, i know because i forgot once :1
