Lil advice guys

My current setup-b18c5 shortblock,b16 head i have all the bolt ons u can name.Today I purchased skunk 2 stage 3 cams and arp studs. Now this weekend the head is going to portflow to get bronze valve guides, skunk high comp valves and a resurfacing. My question is what should i set my rev limit at? My last question is how hard is it dialing these cams?

you might need valve springs and retainers to go higher.

those are really big cams, the are gonna want all the revs you can throw at them, if you have the adjustable cam sprockets then you can just mess around with them untill it drives well, and once you are happy you can tune it from there, but be very careful of the clearances. the last thing you need to do to that head is have a valve tag the piston as soon as the vtec kicks over.... ouch.

yeah, the cams can definitely handle higher than 9k, but remember he's not replacing his springs or retainers, just the valves, so i wouldn't go past 9 with stock springs and retainers.. just my 2 cent
