As for your oil leak, it's pretty hard to tell you where it's coming from, without looking at it. But it sounds to me like your rear main seal is leaking motor oil.

30 weight gear oil?? i have never heard of anyone using anything other than motor oil

u dont use hypo in honda trannies. trance wtf are you talking about! u use 10w30 in most. thats what honda recomends

try RTV high heat for your oil leaks...

it could be the pan gasket or the crank seal.

about the slave cylinder leaking fluid, find where its coming from on the slave mabey the lines are loose or cracked..

yeah dude... this is a lot of good info... if you don't like the way your transmission's working for you, put gear oil in there... you'll be changing out your tranny in a month. i know a guy who didn't believe in manuals use gear oil in his honda tranny and it froze out 3rd gear, then 2nd, then he found out motor oil's what honda tranny's like.

Re:Leaky tranny, NEED HELP!!

you can use gear oils, but motor oils work better. if you wanna go by the book and use gear oil, just go to autozone aor some place and ask them what kind of oils to put in your vehicle. your rear main bearing seal is a roughly $15 and you have to take the tranny, clutch, and the flywheel out to get to it. if you dont replace the seal, your going to leave a trail all over town like I was. :)
