Knock sensor code?
 

I was wondering if I just have crappy gas....Every time I rev to almost redline. (B16A2...OBD1) I'm throwing a code 23, knock sensor. >:( I was just wondering if this was from crappy gas or if there may be another problem. The motor is a totally B16A, no mods. (yet) BTW I did convert this ECU from A/T to Manual, not that this matters. Does the ECU even look for the knock sensor until it's in VTEC, or is it looking all the time?

So completely stock? No cam gears? What is the position on the distributor? Can you hear it detonating when you get up in the RPM range?

It's cool...thanks for the response but I figured it out. F*%&ng loose wire on the harness!!! ;D

hey if you bought it w/ an auto tranny...you might want to consider looking into some manual cams...ive heard the auto b16 cams werent made as aggresively as the manual ones...or hell, just get some crt or itr cams heh.
